PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method whereby command processing of image data transmission between an image reading apparatus and an image processing apparatus can be carried out efficiently. SOLUTION: A system adopting the image processing method is characterized to include an image reading apparatus, an auxiliary storage device mounted on the image reading apparatus, and an image processing apparatus.
