PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can be made less conspicuous in its existence in correspondence to a change of an installation environment without limiting the intrinsic display performance. SOLUTION: The display device includes the display 1 installed so as to expose only the screen; an image data holding section 22 which holds the image data of a landscape portion presumed to exist in the corresponding screen portion considering from the landscape at the circumference of the screen; and a controller unit 2 which reads the image data of the landscape portion from the image data holding section 22 and controls the display of the display screen with respect to the landscape at the circumference of the screen.
