Rubber lining (1) comprises a sleeve-like pressure layer (2); a sleeve-like isotropic thermoplastic reinforcing layer (3) arranged below the pressure layer; a compressing layer (4) arranged below the reinforcing layer and a sleeve base (5) on which the compressing layer is applied. Preferred Features: The reinforcing layer consists of a homogeneous film and an adhesive, both made of the same material.
