<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna assembly operable at a plurality of frequencies. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna assembly 10 is provided with a conductor 1, a feed part 2, and an AC power supply 3. The conductor 1 is a dipole made of a columnar conductor. The conductor 1 has a length L approximately equal to λ, and a diameter r approximately equal to λ/50, when the wavelength of an electric wave is represented as λ. The feed part 2 is provided at a position separated only by a distance of about L/3 from one end 1A of the conductor 1.
