PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device operating over a frequency band larger than a conventional case by approximating two or more resonance frequencies. SOLUTION: The antenna device 100, which resonates with an electric wave of a given frequency, includes a limited ground plate 10 extending in a longitudinal direction and having a recessed part 15 at the long side extending in the longitudinal direction; a power supply point 20 provided in the vicinity of one long-side edge of the limited ground plate; and a linear element 30 fed from the power feeding point and having a length of L<SB>A</SB>from 1/4 to 1/2 of wavelengthλof resonance frequency of the antenna device. It is characterized by satisfying L<SB>A</SB>+L<SB>B</SB>+2*L<SB>C</SB>=λ, where L<SB>B</SB>is a long-side length of the limited ground plate and L<SB>C</SB>is the depth of the recessed part.
