PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus capable of performing smooth path guides by providing exact image information, and to provide a navigation image display method. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus comprises a means of detecting a location/an azimuth, a means of storing map data, a means of displaying, a means of inputting omniazimuth images, a means of storing omniazimuth image data, and a means of converting omniazimuth images. Also, the navigation apparatus controls so that the navigation apparatus reads out image data by the means of storing omniazimuth image data, when a self-vehicle approaches a specified point, and then makes a display image created by the means of converting omniazimuth images so as to display the display image by the means of display.
