PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a route to be searched, which is used by persons moving mutually to meet each other. SOLUTION: In the case that a bidirectional route searching service is provided between a personal digital assistant 1 on the side which requires starting the bidirectional route searching service, and another personal digital assistant 2 which is an object of the bidirectional route searching service, a server 51 or the like carries out; a positional information acquiring procedure for acquiring positional information of each personal digital assistant 1, 2; a route searching procedure for searching a route which is used by users having respective personal digital assistants 1, 2 in order to meet each other, by utilizing map information based on the positional information of each personal digital assistant 1, 2; and an informing procedure for informing respective personal digital assistants 1, 2 of a search result.
