A sanding roll (2) is provided on a roller longitudinal axis (15) which is swivellingly stored and driven parallel to the floor space. The sanding roll is axially swingably stored along the roller longitudinal axis and rotate around the roller longitudinal axis and move at a bearing housing (31) with an unreeling cam disc (28) providing an axial oscillation.
