PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilling device that is simply used even by a woman or aged person of an ordinary family. SOLUTION: The tilling device has constitution that a tilling shaft part having a built-in electric drive part is rotatably supported on the lower end part of a supporting part extended in the vertical direction, a power source part for feeding electricity to the electric drive part is arranged at the lower part of the supporting part and the power source part is positioned right above the tilling shaft part during tilling operation. Consequently, the tilling device itself is small-sized and light and has a light and compact shape to be simply used even especially by a woman or aged person of an ordinary family.
