PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the multi-nozzle formation of gourd type liquid ejection head exhibiting high energy efficiency. SOLUTION: A tubular pressurization chamber 2 is formed by a semi-tubular groove machined in a planar piezoelectric between the piezoelectric and a base plate 1, and a piezoelectric element layer 7 is formed to separate adjacent pressurization chambers 2 by machining a separation groove 4 in the opposite side of the pressurization chamber 2. Polling is imparted by two electrode layers 6 and 8 in the thickness direction of the piezoelectric element layer 7 or in the radial direction of the pressurization chamber 2 and the piezoelectric element layer 7 is deformed normally by applying a drive voltage in the circumferential direction. Liquid such as ink in the pressurization chamber 2 is pressurized through dimensional variation in the radial direction or the circumferential direction and ejected from a nozzle.
