Loose, free-flowing rubber particles (I) comprising a reclaimed rubber core with a permanently elastic coating of binder material over the entire surface. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of (I) by mixing ground rubber scrap with a binder containing polymer components and then stirring the mixture continuously or quasi-continuously until the polymer components are completely crosslinked and the particles are completely coated with binder without sticking together.
