PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for restricting a lubrication oil-feeding amount to a decorative stitch sewing machine where the lubrication oil-feeding amount to a needle bar can be restricted. SOLUTION: The mechanism for restricting the lubrication oil-feeding amount to the decorative stitch sewing machine 100 comprising a spreader mechanism 3 for intermeshing crossing thread to a plurality of needle threads and a needle bar driving mechanism 2 for driving the needle bar 22 in a vertical direction is provided with: a lubrication oil-feeding means 4 for feeding lubrication oil to the spreader mechanism 3 and the needle bar driving mechanism 2; an oil reservoir 5 provided under the spreader mechanism 3 for storing the lubrication oil fed by the oil feeding means; and a wall 7 erected between the spreader mechanism 3 and the lower end of the driving mechanism 2. The wall 7 is provided with a lubrication oil-feeding member 51 whose one end is soaked in the oil reservoir 5, which projects to the side of the driving mechanism 2 by putting it through the wall 7 and where the lower end of the driving mechanism 2 is brought into contact with the projecting part 51a.
