摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unknown system estimation method for estimating a FIR filter for simulating an unknown system by receiving an input signal given to the unknown system such as an acoustic transmission characteristic and an output signal obtained from the unknown system or realizing prediction and simulation of an output from the unknown system and to provide an apparatus for executing the method. SOLUTION: The unknown system estimation method and apparatus includes a time changing or fixed update adjustment coefficient, obtains a correlation reduction input signal vector resulting from subtracting a product between the update adjustment coefficient used in a one-preceding step and a vector component having a correlation with an input signal vector in the one-preceding step in the input signal vector from the input signal vector on the basis of the input signal vector, the input signal vector in the one-preceding step, and an error signal, divides the correlation reduction input signal vector by an inner product between the input signal vector and the correlation reduction input signal vector, multiplies the error signal and the update adjustment coefficient to provide an update value of an unknown system estimate filter to the unknown system estimate filter.
