PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save electric power by restraining unnecessary consumption of electric power in an electric lock and to secure normal unlocking operation. SOLUTION: Under the control of a control circuit 21 detecting the unlock operation performed by an operating part of an electric lock control device 2, the power supply from a current application control part 22 is applied to a driving circuit 10 of the electric lock within a fixed time, and according to whether or not the electric lock is driven by this current application, a thumb turn signal output part 12 generates a thumb turn signal or not. The control circuit of the electric lock control device automatically discrimantes the classification of an electric lock according to the case where the thumb turn signal from the thumb turn signal output part of the electric lock can be received by a thumb turn signal input detecting part 24 or the case where it cannot be received, and the unlock current application time to the electric lock from the current application control part is controlled to the optimum corresponding to the discriminated classification. The unlock current application time is controlled to the optimum by the control circuit detecting a communication command transmitted from the external such as a portable terminal and received by a communication circuit 26.
