PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve various problems of the prior art by preventing rear end material from being bitten or caught on in a flying shear. SOLUTION: This flying shear includes: a guide means 10 supporting and guiding a material W to be cut on the introduction side with respect to a pair of upper and lower shear blades 2, 3 relatively rotated, wherein the guide means 10 is provided with an end material holding means 17 for pressing the rear end material E generated in the last from above to prevent it from being declined forward in sequentially cutting the material W to be cut with upper and lower shear blades 2, 3.
