PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive excellent in dry adhesive strength and boiling-resistant adhesive strength and hardly suffering from deterioration in adhesive properties with time after compounding of a polyvalent isocyanate compound, particularly a woodworking adhesive. SOLUTION: The adhesive comprises a (meth)acrylic resin emulsion (A), which comprises a dispersant comprised of a vinyl alcohol polymer having a degree of saponification of 80-95 mol% and a degree of polymerization of 400-2,000, and a dispersoid comprised of a polymer comprising at least one monomer unit selected from an acrylate monomer unit and a methacrylate monomer unit and has a criterion [a] indicating an emulsion particle size distribution width of at least 0.3, and the polyvalent isocyanate compound (B).
