<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the prevention of ink leakage from an ink fountain. <P>SOLUTION: In this ink fountain device, an ink weir 10 is located in a first position where both sides 10a of the ink fountain is orthogonal with the bottom surface 7a of the ink fountain. In addition, the weir 10 is located in a second position where the angle formed by both sides 10a of the ink fountain and the bottom surface 7a of the ink fountain is obtuse. Further, the ink weir 10 is transferred in an advancing/retreating direction with respect to a fountain roller 3 in the second position by the drive of an air cylinder. A cover is inserted between holding member 38 and the end surface 3a of the fountain roller 3 by rotating the ink weir 10 which advances in the second position to the first position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
