TRIMMING FILTER AND COLOR SEPARATION OPTICAL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color separation optical system capable of controlling wavelength bands of light rays separated into a plurality of wavelength ranges by one trimming filter, hardly being affected by damages and deposition of dust and capable of surely transmitting light ray of a set wavelength range. SOLUTION: A color-separating prism 10 for separating incident light ray into a plurality of light rays different in wavelength range is constituted by combining a plurality of prisms 11 to 13. The trimming filter 14 for selecting a wavelength range narrower than at least one wavelength range correspondingly to the wavelength range is detachably arranged on the measured object side of the color separation prism 10.
