<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide an image processing method and an image processing device capable of detecting sophisticated tampering. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A watermark image input unit (200) includes: a watermark information extraction unit (220) for detecting the superimposed position of a superimposed pattern from the pattern-superimposed image obtained by superimposing a distinct pattern on an original image; and an input image deformation unit (230) for creating a corrected image of the pattern-superimposed image (260) according tot the detected superimposed position information. Since the image acquired from the printing surface is corrected according to the position information on the signal embedded during printing, it is possible to restore the image before printing from the image acquired from the printed matter without distortion or expansion/contraction. Accordingly, it is possible to correspond the positions between the images with a high accuracy and detect sophisticated tampering.</p> |
