<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of effectively preventing dust, or the like from entering, and enabling secure connection with a simple mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In this connector for connecting the thin diameter pipe, a connector body 1 formed of a flange part in contact with a mating part and a cylindrical part continued with the flange part is threaded to the mating part through the flange part of a bush member 6 installed in the inner peripheral surface of the connector body. The overall outer peripheral part of the connector body is covered by an elastic dustproof cap 2, and a front spool part and a rear spool part are formed at the end of the thin diameter pipe P connected to the flow passage of the mating part. A ring-shaped seal ring 7 is peripherally fitted to the front side of the front spool part and lockingly pressed against the mating part. A retainer 3 is installed between the rear wall part of the rear spool part and the connector body, a lock and release member 4 is fitted onto the outer peripheral surface of the thin diameter pipe at the rear of the retainer, and they are assembled integrally with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
