PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise filter circuit for a switching power supply that satisfies a withstand voltage test between a line and frame ground FG, and that prevents fluctuations in an output voltage of the switching power supply by inhibiting a surge current in a common mode from flowing into the ground. SOLUTION: In the noise filter circuit for the switching power supply, a series circuit of a gas tube arrester, an oxidized metal varistor, and a resistor is connected between an AC supply line and a ground line.
