PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the development of a gap in the inner part of a web part when a continuous casting of an H-section cast piece is performed. SOLUTION: In the case of setting R<SB>A</SB>(mm) for gap in the inlet side web rolls, R<SB>B</SB>(mm) for gap in the outlet side web rolls, L<SB>A</SB>(m) for distance measuring the interval between a line connecting rotating axes of the inlet side web rolls and molten steel surface in a mold so as to accompany with the center line of the H-section cast piece, and L<SB>B</SB>(m) for distance measuring the interval between a line connecting a rotating axes of the outlet side web rolls and the molten steel surface in the mold so as to accompany with the center line of the H-section cast piece, the continuous casting is performed so that R<SB>A</SB>value, R<SB>B</SB>value, L<SB>A</SB>value and L<SB>B</SB>value satisfy 0.3≤(R<SB>A</SB>-R<SB>B</SB>)/(L<SB>B</SB>-L<SB>A</SB>)<0.5.
