PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste ink tank which can easily remove waste ink ejected from an ink nozzle and solidified with a lapse of time, and an inkjet printer using the waste ink tank. SOLUTION: This waste ink tank 1, which is equipped with a storage part 7 for storing the waste ink ejected from the ink nozzle, comprises a waste ink lead-in port 12 which receives the waste ink ejected from the ink nozzle, so as to lead it into the storage part 7, and a sweep-out mechanism part 5 which sweeps out the waste ink accumulated below the lead-in port 12. The mechanism part 5 comprises a sliding scraper, and an inclined plane whereon the scraper slides below a waste ink lead-in part 11.
