<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED illumination light source which reduces nonuniformity in color. <P>SOLUTION: In the LED illumination light source, a mirror-finished projecting structure is mounted onto the substrate with the area of a lower surface in contact with a substrate larger than that of an upper surface at which an LED element is mounted, and is subjected to mirror finish, and the area of an opening with light emitted from the LED element is smaller than that of an opening at a contact section on the substrate at the opening of a reflector, thus reducing nonuniformity in color even if the center of the LED device deviates from that of a resin containing a phosphor applied to the LED device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
