PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a rear indoor height and a rear opening sufficient for a person on a wheelchair to get on a car by installing a slide type lift in an one-box car, and provide a method for mounting the lift. SOLUTION: By lowering a floor portion of the one-box car by the height corresponding to the thickness of a slide type lift from the conventional position, a rear indoor height and a space for an opening can be secured. In a slide type lift, step height is provided to a base part so as to allow mounting in the one-box car. By so doing, the center of gravity is lowered from the conventional wheelchair getting-on position, which leads to further enhancement of stability.
