PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for turning over a container for a filler material capable of discharging the filler material from the container without making the container for the filler material collide with a stopper or the like, preventing noises from being generated thereby to realize a good working environment, avoiding breakage of the container as well, and preventing foreign matters from being mixed into a packaging container. SOLUTION: Two supporting shafts 9 and 10 are inserted into and supported by a main rotating shaft 7 intermittently rotating by every 180°so as to rotate on their own axes. A pair of pinching members 16 and 17 are respectively fitted on the spindles. A sliding shaft 12 is inserted through the spindle, and the pinching members are opened and closed by an action of an opening and closing cam 25 for the pinching member. The pinching members pinch the container at a pinching and stopping position. The main rotating shaft is rotated, and the spindles are also revolved therewith. A cam roller 36 on a cam lever 35 fitted to the spindle is inserted into a cam channel 38 of a channel cam 37. The width of the cam channel is enlarged before and after a position corresponding to a turning over stopping position, and when the can roller is positioned there, the spindle is rotated on its own axis. A stopper mechanism 45 whose position is adjustable is provided, and the pinching member is stopped thereby at the turning over stopping position.
