<p>The device has a compartment (3) for loading a bread into the device, and a set (4) of bread cutting blades mounted in a framework (5) movable relatively to a frame (2). The framework is moved by a motor (9a) between a position (A) in which the bread to be cut is loaded in the bread loading compartment and another position (B) in which the bread sliced by the blades is extracted from the compartment. The frame is provided with a bread pushing unit (10) having a spring disposed in such a way that the unit (10) exerts a pressure on the bread during cutting of the bread by the set of blades.</p> |
