PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a regenerative clock producing device capable of providing an accurate regenerative clock even when noise, variation or the like in frequency or reproduction speed occur. SOLUTION: Edges of an input signal are detected. Also, pulse interval of the input signal is measured based on the detected edges. Further, it is determined whether or not ratio of temporally succeeding pulse interval among the measured pulse spacings is a predetermined ratio.
