Disclosed is a thermal rectification method between at least one gaseous and at least one liquid flow of substance, at least one of which contains (meth)acrylic monomers, in a rectifying column comprising mass transfer bottoms as effectively rectifying built-in units. According to the invention, the liquid flow of substance is polymerization-inhibited and is used for spraying the surface of the rectifying column. Areas of the built-in units, which are located in the shaded zone of the sprayed substance, are led out of the shaded zone by means of a lining process.
