<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing collagen particles produced by a known process into ultra-microparticles of nanometer size. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises the following procedure: Collagen produced by a known process is made into collagen microparticles, which are then admixed into electrolytically reducing water containing no chlorine, having a redox potential of ≤200 mV and containing active hydrogen, followed by agitation to prepare a mixed liquid into a fluid material, which is then force-fed to an ultra-micronizer, where active oxygen generated by the active hydrogen is eliminated and the whole collagen particles are ultra-micronized without deteriorating collagen component. From the resulting ultra-micronized collagen, the collagen component is extracted into the fluid material, which is then evaporated to dryness to extract the objective ultra-micronized collagen as dry collagen component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
