PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturizable push-button switch capable of ensuring strength against pressing from a lateral direction of a circuit board. SOLUTION: This push-button switch is provided with: a housing 1 having a housing part 1a with a fixed contact 2 installed on a surface perpendicular to a bottom surface; external terminals 3 led out of the fixed contact 2 and projecting to the bottom surface side of the housing 1; moving contacts 4 contacting to and separating from the fixed contact 2; an operation member 6 formed so as to push the moving contacts 4 by projecting from a housing 7; and a frame 8 mounted so as to retain the operation member 6 in the housing 7 and to cover the front faces and the side faces of the housings 7 and 1. A bottom face side end of a front plate 8a of the frame 8 covering the front face of the housing 7 is protrusively formed so as to be surface-mounted to the circuit board 10 along with the external terminals 3; and, in facing surfaces between the front plate 8a of the frame 8 and the front face of the housing 7, a space part S for preventing flux rise is formed between the bottom face side end of the frame 8 and the front face of the housing 7.
