PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication apparatus having a television visual-aural function capable of simply conducting a processing picture-recording a television program on a home video recorder while viewing the television program. SOLUTION: When the television program during a visual and aural operation is intended to picture-record the television program on the home video recorder, a video-recorder picture-recording button mounted on an operation section 16 may only be depressed. When a CPU 14 detects the depression of the button, a broadcasting station ID is specified from a current selector channel. A transmission data (a picture-recording command transmission character row) conformed to a picture-recording reservation system on the video recorder side is prepared from the broadcasting station ID, a password, a picture-recording completion time or the like. When an information is transmitted or received from a data server to a video recorder by a mail by a mail system and a data registration system, the character rows (a mail sentence) of a format such as an open [the password], tv [the broadcasting station ID], [a start time], [a finish time] and [a date] are transmitted.
