<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of improving the dark and coarse image quality in a pixel structure, such as a Bayer array. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 1 has red pixels 2 R, green pixels 2 G and blue pixels 2 B outputting light of red, green, and blue being three primary colors, and is equipped with the green pixels 2 G more than the red pixels 2 R or the blue pixels 2 B. The display device 1 is provided with a light-shielding means 6 for uniformly covering a portion of the respective light output regions of the red pixels 2 R, the green pixels 2 G and the blue pixels 2 B and shielding the light outputted from the covered output regions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
