PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of being provided with a display light for informing a user about the arrival of a facsimile communication to an operation display unit and capable of informing the user located apart from the facsimile machine about the arrival of the facsimile communication. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine provided with the operation display unit includes the display light for informing the user about the arrival of a facsimile communication to the operation display unit, and the operation display unit is fitted to a facsimile machine main body in a way of being freely changed to a position at which the user can easily view display contents displayed on the operation display unit when the user operates the facsimile machine and at a position at which the user can easily view the contents from a location apart from the facsimile machine main body.
