FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves giving epi- and retrobulbar anesthesia and cutting conjunctiva concentrically with respect to limb. Superficial rectangular 280-320 mcm thick scleral flap turned with its base towards equator is cut out. The second 280-320 mcm thick scleral flap, turned with its base towards the limb, is cut out from the middle layers of sclera retaining deep layers intact. Exit to Schlemm's canal zone and further going to cornea 0.8-1.2 mm as far and opening external wall of the Schlemm's canal by removing its endothelial lining. Then, superficial rectangular scleral flap is first sequentially laid over retained deep sclera layers and open Schlemm's canal and fixed with near limb with two interrupted sutures. The second rectangular scleral flap cut out from the middle layers of sclera and the second scleral flap laid as the last is fixed with two interrupted sutures near its vertices. Suture is placed on conjunctiva. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in creating new fluid discharge ways; stable treatment result; reduced risk of operation.
