<p>A data structure which can efficiently manage a moving picture and a still picture, and an apparatus which performs recording/reproduction by using such data structure are provided. A data processor is provided with a drive device for writing one or more still picture files in a hierarchy of a still picture folder of a recording medium or lower. The data processor is also provided with a control part which generates file specifying information for specifying a storing position of each still picture file in the hierarchy, generates identifying information for uniquely identifying each still picture file, and generates a table which associatesthe file specifying information with the identifying information. The drive device writes the generated table in the recording medium as a table file.</p> |
