PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine without a structure of permitting easy entrance of game balls in the number larger than a prescribed number into a large winning hole by one opening thereof and without impairing the essential gaming properties of a game using the game balls. SOLUTION: A prescribed number of game balls entering the large winning hole 61 are detected by a sensor inside the large winning hole 61, and after that, the large winning hole 61 (an open/close plate 62) is closed based on the detection of a count sensor 65 for detecting game balls flowing down on ball flow-down zones 86 and 77 and on the front region of the large winning hole 61. As a result, though the prescribed number of game balls are sure to enter the large winning hole 61, the final result after that is different according to the flow of the game balls: at least the prescribed number of game balls enter the large winning hole, or only less than the prescribed number of game balls enter the winning hole after that. Accordingly, the game machine is not structured to permit easy entrance of game balls in the number larger than the prescribed number into the large winning hole 61 by one opening thereof, and the essential gaming properties of the game using game balls are not impaired.
