PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration suppressing tool for suppressing vibration contributing to reduction of generation of noise, improvement of machining accuracy and the service life of a cutting tool, shortening of machining time and improvement of productivity of a machined product by suppressing vibration generated by rotation of a rotary shaft by mounting the tool on a machine tool. SOLUTION: This suppressing tool 1 has a bearing part which is a bearing mounted on a machine tool main body in an inserted state of the rotary shaft or a collar C and has an inner diameter capable of inserting the rotary shaft or the collar C, and has an adjuster provided with a roller at a distal end. The adjuster is arranged so that the distal end may be in contact with the rotary shaft. The tool 1 is constituted of a plurality of collars C fitted to the rotary shaft. Reverse truncated cone shaped tapered receiving recessed parts are provided at both ends of the one collar C. In the collars C fitted on both the sides, truncated cone shaped tapered projecting parts having almost the same shapes as those of the tapered receiving recessed parts are provided.
