PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce engine vibration by using a multi-link type piston-crank mechanism in a high output/large displacement 90 degree V-type eight cylinder four cycle internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This 90 degree V-type eight cylinder four cycle internal combustion engine provided with eight cylinders and forming 90 degree angle between centerlines of cylinders adjacent in a engine fore-and-aft direction is provided with a lower link 3 rotatably attached on a crank pin 2 of a crankshaft 1, an upper link 7 having one end connected to a piston via a piston pin and another end connected to the lower link 3, and a control link 4 having one end connected to the lower link 3 and another link rockably supported by an engine main body side.
