摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer material transporting guide mechanism with which image blur and image shrinkage can be restrained in feeding stiff transfer material such as cardboard in a state where it turns upward from a pair of resist rollers and guiding it to a transfer position with simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer material is transported in the state where it turns upward by a pair of resist rollers 5a and 5b, and guided to the transfer position A by a pair of guide plates 6a and 6b. When the end of the stiff transfer material such as cardboard is separated from a pair of resist rollers 5a and 5b, the transfer material happens to jump in some cases. The guide plate 6a on a secondary transfer roller 31 side energized to the transfer position A by spring members 61a and 61b resists energizing and is rocked to retreat from the transfer position A, whereby the jump of the transfer material is canceled, and the occurrence of the image blur is restrained. Meanwhile, when the cardboard passes through the transfer position A, the secondary transfer roller 31 is also separated from the transfer position A by as much as the thickness of the cardboard by a rocking member 33, but the guide plate 6a on the secondary transfer roller 31 side is rocked independently of the secondary transfer roller 31, so that the transfer material is guided to an appropriate transfer position regardless of the rocking of the secondary transfer roller 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
