PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed guide mechanism capable of guiding a plurality of kinds of sheets having different width without increasing user's burden. SOLUTION: This feed guide mechanism is provided with a movable guide 102 for guiding width end on one side of a sheet having specific width and allowing feed of a sheet having non-specific width, a guide holder 92 supporting the movable guide 102 movable between a guide position for guiding the sheet having specific width and a non-guide position for allowing feed of the sheet having non-specific width, and an energizing means 151 for energizing the movable guide toward the guide position. The movable guide 102 has a width end guide face 132 for guiding width end of the sheet having specific width to be fed and an inclined guide face 133 for moving the movable guide to the non-guide position against the energizing means by feed pressing force by a tip of the sheet having non-specific width.
