A fuel cell system which comprises a device for collecting water is provided to supply water in vapor phase to an anode of an electric generator so as to promote the catalyst reaction in the anode as well as to improve the electricity generating performance of the system, and to recycle the collected water in liquid phase to a humidifier, thereby eliminating the need for frequent water supply to the humidifier in the system. The fuel cell system comprises: an electric generator(101) where electricity is generated through the electrochemical reaction in the anode and cathode; a fuel tank(102) where a fuel, BH4- as an aqueous solution is contained; a fuel supply line(103) which supplies the fuel to the anode by connecting the fuel tank with the anode; an air supply line(109) which supplies air to the cathode by being connected to the inlet of the cathode; a fuel discharging line(104) connected to the outlet of the anode; an air exhaust line connected to the outlet of the cathode; a phase separator(120,120') which separates the fuel and the air after being used to a liquid phase and a gas phase by being connected to the fuel discharging line and the air exhaust line; a humidifier(113) for the air being supplied to the cathode by being formed on the air supply line; and a water trap(150) which collects H2O in liquid phase present in the air supplied to the anode by being placed after the humidifier in the air supply line. |
