A method of providing a multicast and/or broadcast service in a mobile telecommunications network, wherein transmission times for the services are scheduled and scheduling information is transmitted from a network node to a mobile terminal and wherein the scheduling information is provided according to a predefined schedule. The service may be a Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS). In other methods, multicast and/or broadcast services are scheduled and the scheduling information content is arranged to cover particular transmission periods and/or services. Other methods disclose data relating to a multicast and/or broadcast service being grouped together before transmission, e.g. by delaying some data.
