The apparatus has a conveyor (11) with a conveyor belt (12) for transporting objects (9) at a determined speed (V2) in a determined downstream direction (F2). The belt is coupled with a motor (20) and limited laterally by two confinement edges (13, 14) converging towards a downstream zone of the belt. A driving pulley (24) drives longitudinally the edge (14) at a speed (V4) lower than the speed (V2) along the direction (F2).
