<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently screening and determining an anticancer agent, specifically a G2/M inhibitor, and to obtain a DNA modifying agent and a non-DNA modifying agent. <P>SOLUTION: The G2/M inhibitor targeting the polymerization of tubulin or other molecules can efficiently be screened or determined by utilizing (1) a B-LCL (lymphoblastoid cell line) obtained by transforming a B cell derived from a healthy person with an EBV (Epstein-Barr virus), (2) a post-immortal cell line derived from the B-LCL and optionally (3) a cell line (TRS#5) in which a human telomerase gene, T-antigen gene of SV 40 (simian virus 40) and a tumor gene Ha-ras are transduced into a primary cultured adult fibroblast cell line. Furthermore, the DNA modifying agent and non-DNA modifying agent can be screened or determined by using these cell lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
