PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of cooking delicious rice by highly accurately detecting the weight of a cooked object and controlling energizing to an induction heating means corresponding to the weight of the cooked object. SOLUTION: By providing the induction heating means 13 for induction-heating a pot 12, a weight detection means 40 for detecting the total weight of the pot 12 and the cooked object 19 inside the pot, a control part 14 for calculating the weight of the cooked object 19 on the basis of the output signals of the weight detection means 40 and controlling the energizing to the induction heating means 13 according to the weight of the cooked object 19 and a plurality of guide rollers 70 with a prescribed gap 69 to the side face of the pot 12, the pot 12 is guided by the guide rollers 70 and housed at a prescribed position of a housing part 30 and the weight is detected by the weight detection means 40. Since the prescribed gap 69 exists between the side face of the pot 12 and the guide rollers 70 at the time of housing the pot 12, the weight of the cooked object is highly accurately detected.
