PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bending device which has a simple structure and can bend a long workpiece to right and left directions. SOLUTION: The bending device has a bending die 6 matching a bending shape and a bending arm 12 rotatable around the bending die 6. The long workpiece 1 is bent by rotating the bending die 6 together with the rotation of the bending arm 12. A pair of right and left clamping dies 50, 52 are arranged on the bending arm 12, which pinch the workpiece 1 between the bending die 6 and themselves by moving toward the workpiece 1, and a selection mechanism 26 is also arranged which rotates either the bending arm 12 or the bending die 6. Furthermore, a transfer mechanism 82 is also provided for sending the workpiece 1 to the longitudinal direction by gripping the workpiece 1 with a chuck 80 and also shifting it to two directions rectangular to the longitudinal direction of the workpiece 1.
