PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine eliminating the waste of a power consumption caused by performing or intensifying a patting means, when the amount of the operation of a treating element arm with treating elements to a person to be treated is small in a massaging operation. SOLUTION: This massage machine is provided with the massaging means actuating the treating element arm 8 having the treating elements 1 toward a backrest part 36 and giving the person to be treated, who leans against the backrest part 36, the massaging operation by the treating elements 1. This massage machine is provided with a control part 7, when the massaging means frontward moves the treating element arm 8 to project the treating elements 1 to the person to be treated, the larger the amount of the operation of the treating element arm 8 becomes, intensifying the patting operation by the patting means or, when the amount of the operation of the treating element arm 8 is large, performing the patting operation by the patting means.
