PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wasteful heat radiation into the air from a cover surface at an upper part of a heating element. SOLUTION: This electric warmer comprises a main body 1 composed of the heating element 5 and a heat insulating material 7 covering the heating element 5, a front surface material 4 placed on an upper face of the main body 1 and a rear surface material 6 placed on a lower face of the main body 1, and the front surface material 4 is impregnated with microcapsules 8 including heat storage material, to temporarily store excess heat from the heating element 5 in the heat storage material. By applying this constitution, the heat can be effectively utilized by temporarily storing the heat which has been radiated into the air from the cover surface in distributing electric power, and radiating the heat from the heat storage material when the heating element 5 is in a stopped state.
