<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fitting structure for fitting an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine in a plug hole of the engine, which can restrict vibration of a connector, by fixing an ignition coil fitting part and an opposite side, avoiding to fit the ignition coil for an internal combustion engine like a cantilever. <P>SOLUTION: The inner surface of the plug hole is provided with an engine side rib on a connector side separated form the fitting part to be fixed to the engine. The peripheral surface of a socket for the ignition coil, which receives a high-voltage side of the ignition coil for an internal combustion engine, is provided with a rib on a side of the ignition coil for an internal combustion engine. The ignition coil for an internal combustion engine is formed into a certain shape so that the engine side rib is fitted to the rib on the side of the ignition coil for an internal combustion engine when pushing the ignition coil for an internal combustion engine into the plug hole, and the ignition coil is fixed like a cantilever by the fitting part, and vibration on the connector side can be eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
